Can Samsung convince Dilbert on the Galaxy Note?

Samsung can’t stop sniping at Apple, and the newest Galaxy Note street challenge seems to have convinced at the least one disgruntled iPhone owner; however, the Korean firm still has Dilbert to cajole. For its latest commercial, Samsung apparently took  its 5.3-inch smartphone-tablet hybrid to the mean streets of latest York City, giving Android users a couple of hours to familiarize yourself with the “phablet”, after which pitted them against iPhone owners on a chain of challenges.

Can Samsung convince Dilbert on the Galaxy Note?

The street tasks go heavy on in-built functionality, with the Galaxy Note’s annotation abilities in addition to its photo editing tools each put through their paces. By contrast, the poor iPhone owner is left gaping at her Samsung-toting rival.

NVIDIA Tegra 3 VSMP technology renamed 4-PLUS-1

Back after we were first learning in regards to the amazing technology within the system-on-chip architecture of the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, the term “VSMP” was used to explain the “ninja core” it included. That extra core, the fifth core, often known as the “companion core” is now set to be described in a far more “everyman” term: 4-PLUS-1. What the NVIDIA 4-PLUS-1 quad-core architecture here does is a similar thing we described all those weeks ago, it’s simply a lot more clear with a brand spanking new name attached to it.

WIMM One Micro App Store Beta opens today

The coolest little watchband-based Android computer on the earth, the WIMM One, is today letting loose its own Micro App Store. This device is currently out within the same form as we did a WIMM One Developer Kit full review of a few weeks ago, and today it gets its own app store in beta form and one big software update! This software update will axe a chain of bugs and permit the device to work with the app store because it launches via the online this afternoon.
