Amazon Kindle Paperwhite sold out, backordered 4-6 weeks

on backorder for roughly 4 to six weeks. Even so, that offers you tons of time to consider whether you really need one or not.

It’s really no surprise that Amazon‘s new Kindle device was a significant hit. It comes with an all-new e-ink display that shows whiter whites and blacker blacks, in addition to featuring a front-lit LED display that makes it easy to read at nighttime, but doesn’t go as far as to cause eye strain like a conventional back-lit display would.

It also has the next-resolution display, so the picture is lots more crisp than past Kindle models, and the performance is set nearly as good because it gets for an ereader. Plus, at only $119, it’s in regards to the best performance to value ratio you can still achieve from an ereader at this point. Read our full review of the device for more details.

With the entire new features which might be inside the new Paperwhite, it sort of feels customers have responded more positively to the device than Amazon was expecting. With the device already sold out and wear backorder for 4-6 weeks, it proves that Amazon definitely wasn’t expecting this type of a turnout. However, it’s still a great sign when your products are widespread, and it’s even a greater sign in the event you can’t even stay alongside of demand.
