CasaTunes Air expands AirPlay for the wireless home
iOS app you can play tunes from any selection of your personal music collections and direct the sound to the rooms you’ve establish throughout your property or apartment.
You may also use this technique along with your Mac or PC, it all using iTunes and AirPlay technology to make the complete show go. You can even use Android smartphones and tablet in addition to any choice of web browsers from whatever device you’ve handy to manage your CasaTunes Music Server. There’s also a wall mounted CasaTunes Keypad you need to use to work with music you have stored locally.
David Krinker, CEO of CasaTunes notes that this CasaTunes Air system is made particularly for users who’ve “maxed out their wired solution but are still trying to add music in additional rooms.” CasaTunes Air also supports a growing system with add-ons galore. This technique, actually, is an add-on for already existing hardware that CasaTunes already distributes. CasaTunes version 4 with CasaTunes Air is able to opt for all CasaTunes line of music servers.
